Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Representative to represent SOURCERAPID on the ground in Banjul and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will identify and engage potential importers, distributors, and business partners interested in Asian products. This role is key to expanding our network and driving growth in West Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new importers, distributors, and resellers of Asian products in Gambia
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, trade associations, and industry stakeholders
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits to promote SOURCERAPID’s services and onboard new clients
- Present and pitch SOURCERAPID’s value proposition to prospective clients, highlighting how our platform simplifies access to reliable Asian suppliers
- Negotiate partnership terms and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new importer and distributor sign-ups
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in trade, logistics, and commerce
- Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to support SOURCERAPID’s regional growth strategy
- Collaborate with the global team to refine sales strategies, messaging, and service offerings based on local feedback
- Support clients through the initial sourcing and procurement process to ensure successful onboarding and satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or trade facilitation in Africa
- Familiarity with import-export processes and cross-border trade dynamics is a plus
- Local market knowledge in Mali and neighboring West African countries
- Proficiency in local language Malinke, Wolof; English (written and spoken); French is a plus
